With full ownership of design and production, and over 30 years of experience as a European mobile operator and system integrator, LMT delivers a reliable, pre-certified solution backed by enterprise-grade support – eliminating the complexity of building from scratch.
The IoT Shortcut is engineered for ultra-low-power operation over cellular LPWAN networks (NB-IoT / LTE-M), making it ideal for fully wireless, battery-powered applications. Depending on your specific configuration – such as the carrier board design, sensor types, and data transmission frequency – battery life can reach up to 10 years. The IoT Shortcut is designed for straightforward integration into your product architecture. It can be mounted directly onto your PCB using standard SMT reflow processes, making it suitable for both prototyping and large-scale production. For faster development cycles, LMT also offers Evaluation Kit that simplifies testing and deployment. The module supports a wide range of peripherals and interfaces, allowing you to tailor your solution to your specific application – whether you’re building environmental monitors, industrial devices, or connected infrastructure. The IoT Shortcut SoM supports LTE-M and NB-IoT connectivity with global coverage, powered by Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF9151 modem. Designed for international deployment, the module comes pre-certified, including regulatory approvals for major markets – significantly reducing time-to-market and simplifying compliance. For full band support and certification details, our team is available to assist. Looking ahead, upcoming versions will introduce NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) connectivity, enabling satellite-based communication for even broader coverage and deployment flexibility.
