LMT IoT at Embedded World 2026

LMT IoT at Embedded World 2026

The countdown to Nuremberg is officially on – the LMT IoT team is packing our cellular IoT gear and heading to Embedded World 2026 on the 10th–12th of March. As one of the premier events for the global embedded community, it’s the perfect stage for us to showcase how we’re making IoT connectivity feel like a walk in the park.

Location: Hall 3A, Booth 3A-629

What we’re showcasing: The IoT Shortcut

At Embedded World 2026, we’ll be demonstrating how we’ve simplified the lifecycle of IoT devices with our flagship product – IoT Shortcut.

Moving from a prototype to a massive rollout shouldn’t be a headache. IoT Shortcut is designed to take you from a napkin sketch to a global rollout in months, not years, by providing a pre-certified, full-stack ecosystem.

At Embedded World 2026, we’ll be bringing the entire product ecosystem to the floor, including:

1. The module

The heart of our solution is the IoT Shortcut SoM (System on Module) – one of the world’s smallest mobile data modules for sensor equipment (only 20 x 26 mm). It provides you with:

  • Global cellular IoT: Powered by the Nordic Semiconductor nRF9151, supporting LTE-M and NB-IoT with global band coverage.
  • Low energy consumption: Explicitly engineered for battery-powered devices, it features an ultra-low deep-sleep current of 7 µA, enabling a field life of up to 10 years.
  • Optimized for industrial scale: Mass-production-ready and pre-certified for major markets, it removes the regulatory roadblocks that typically stall production.

2. The platform

Don’t build a backend from scratch. Our IoT data platform handles the heavy lifting of device management and data analysis.

  • White-label ready: Launch under your own brand with a fully customizable platform.
  • Security & compliance: Built on EU-based infrastructure, meeting ISO 27001 and GDPR standards.
  • Actionable insights: Advanced tools for object management, real-time consumption tracking, and instant alerts for mission-critical deployments.

3. The mobile app

Save months of development with our ready-made iOS and Android apps.

  • User-first design: Let your customers monitor readings, configure settings, and receive notifications via a sleek, professional interface out of the box.
  • Scalability: Perfect for diverse use cases – from smart city infrastructure and utility metering to critical safety monitoring in hard-to-reach locations.

Whether you’re focused on battery-powered devices, low energy consumption, or easy deployment, we have the tools to get your project off the ground faster.

IoT Shortcut & Infineon Edge AI

Alongside the IoT Shortcut, we will be featuring our latest work with Infineon on IoT Shortcut and Edge AI. By combining pre certified NB IoT and LTE M connectivity with Infineon’s DEEPCRAFT™ Edge AI toolchain, we enable low power machine learning inference directly on the device with fast PCB integration. To speed up prototyping, LMT IoT has developed a PCB extension board that enables Infineon edge AI features and turns prototypes into connected devices that send events and insights, not raw data.
